Our Maltese Families

Every Maltese Puppy Deserves a Forever Family!

We started Jacob Maltese because we love this breed of dog. Our primary goal is to breed and show excellent quality dogs that conform to the breed standard and exhibit all the best characteristics of the breed. Each puppy is watched closely and carefully evaluated for potential performance in the show ring. Some do not meet the highest standards we desire for the show ring and our breeding program. These puppies are placed with families as pets. We are very selective in our placements and want to ensure that both the dog and the family are right for each other.

This page has photos and information about some of our Maltese that have been placed with families that love and cherish them.

Brighton & Bentley

Brighton and Bentley

These two sweet boys are loved by Susan who says, "I don't know what I did without them." Sometimes people will not consider a male, probably because they are concerned about "hiking" issues. But males make the most wonderful pets and if you get them neutered appropriately they don't have hiking issues. They totally love their owners. Brighton is from Faith and Fame and Bentley is from Beth and Pistol. They are both lovely guys who bring Susan much joy. Thanks Susan for giving them such a wonderful home!

Esau

The little male pictured here was born May 4, 2003. His Mom is Angel and his Dad is Champion Marcris Risque' Blue Hill's Envy. He will probably be small as he is smaller than our prior babies at the same age and his Dad is only four pounds. He's now living with his new Mom, Sophia.

I'm very pleased with them both. My little wish in wanting a lap dog, with beautiful coat, sweet temperment and smart came true. She was my baby before she was even born. Thank you Deb so very much.

Sydney

This girl is Sydney who now lives with her new family in Virginia. Sydney's new mom Kathleen writes:

"We had been working with Debbie for quite a few months on getting us a Maltese Puppy. Since we lived in different states we never knew the quality of her puppies, but we knew that Debbie was a sincere person, and that was important to us. Debbie finally came to Virginia to show our prospective puppy in a dog show. Low and behold the puppy won Best in Breed. Sydney (the puppy) took to my husband and I immediately at the Dog Show. It was love at first sight for us too. Well, we took her home with us that night, and we just love her so much. She loves our other 2 Maltese and even our Cat. Now we are one big happy family. Rest assured if you get a Maltese from Debbie, the puppy will be of the highest quality. We are very happy."
