I knew when Chase was little that he had the potential for show but I was a little concerned that he didn't want to walk on a lead and he has a really soft spirit. I knew Fran Lovitt was wanting to learn to show and so I talked with her about Chase. I also knew that Fran had a special touch with animals and that if anyone could bring out Chase's sweet personality she could do it.

Fran
has done a wonderful job learning to groom and present Chase. She now does
a top knot better than I'll ever hope to do one. I love seeing Chase give
her sweet kisses and I think I was even prouder than she was the day he
took his first points, a four point major. Thanks Fran for loving him even
more than I do!! Debbie
Fran
says: "Chase and I are learning to present at a show together.
In Montgomery we aquired a 4 point Major and it made us feel like we were
doing something right finally. Through the choosing of combs, brushes, shampoos,
conditioners, static spray and then just the right bow, step-by-step we
are coming closer to our end look. Learning to walk with a leash with head
up and strutting while above the elbow is in and choosing the right pace,
not too slow and not too fast, so we aquire the best stride to make it all
come together in front of the judge. At home is the best time for our sweet
energetic and playful little man. Such beauty that your eyes follow him
and get rewarded with his antics. When he raises up on his hind legs and
tips back and forth with his front paws in the air he resembled a bear.
My heart warms to see him tussle and play with his opponent. He's truly
an enjoyable little partner."
